Mollie Moo ~ 3 week Ampuversary

Hello, friends!!

Wow, I cannot believe it has already been 3 weeks since my surgery. I am hopping along much better each day. I do loose my balance here and there but I think this is because I’ve lived 7 years with 4 paws and I’m only on week 3 with 3 paws. My mom says I’m doing Pawsome!

Last Friday I had my first chemo treatment. Other than being tired when I got home from the vet that day, I have been doing very well! I have not been sick, my stools are good, and my eyes have sparkles in them. The skin growth I had removed on my front elbow is also healing well. Thank goodness for that because I don’t want to get an infection. My mom has been dressing me with the shirts still; mainly because I keep licking at my suture site. It is healing nicely and my mom wants to make sure it stays that way.

Something made my mom sad the other day…We were playing with my stuffed duckie my mom bought me. I have never been that big into playing with toys but when I do play I go crazy and have fun 🙂 So my mom threw the duck and I went to retrieve it and I tried to use both my front legs..but I only have one front leg. But I figured it out and got my duckie. My mom didn’t show sadness but I overheard her telling my Grandma Carmen about it. Not only do dogs have to adjust but our humans have to adjust too. We are learning together!! 🙂 🙂

My mom has been taking me on car rides which I love! Helps me get out of the house and see what’s going on in the world. Another BIG STEP I made yesterday (Tuesday) is going on a walk. I walked around the cul-de-sac and even down the street a little bit. I rested when I needed to rest. I am building up my stamina to go on more walks.

Oh Mollie Moo! I love the shirt…I think you should wear them even when you stop licking – you are a very fashionable girl! I was sad the first time Nitro tried to hold a rawhide bone with one paw, but you know what? He figured it out just fine, just like you will be fine. Keep on sending us these adorable pictures, and keep rocking on 3 legs!

  Thank you Paula and Nitro!! We are still searching for the right sized shirts but so far the Hanes (for humans) brand is the comfiest and I can move my body in them! Thank you for all your support..it helps to know there are ppl out there who understand what you’re going through!!

How can I possibly post a repl when all I do is keep scroling back up to ook at the ADORABLE..ADORABLE…ADORABLE. pictures!!!

The mug of Mollie Moo’s is cute beyond words! Sniffing the breeze…posing so.lretty next to the flowers…perfect potty formation…the most relaxed nap position of all time…I’m exhausted from smiling so much!!

So glad Mollie Moo is recovering nicely and getting her sparkle bac…and it continues to get better and better!

Hi Mollie Moo!! You’re so precious!! I just fostered my tripawd Poppy a few months ago, and I fell so in love I adopted her. She has a rash/irritation on her side – one vet said allergies, and one vet said pressure sores from laying on her one side all the time. I keep shirts on her 24/7…and it’s precious. She’s a Pitty, and around 40lbs, so as your momma has seen, it’s hard to find doggy clothes for bigger pups.

I’ve lately been wanting to take her for a walk but I’m afraid of overexerting her.

Where does your mom find such cute clothes for you??

  My mom got my blue shirt at Petco but its a little tight. My pink one is my moms shirt:) My white one is Hanes shirt from uncle Justin..Lol! My mom is going to Walmart to look for a Small Hanes shirt. That may fit better!! 🙂 You are so cute! Let me know if you find some t-shirts:)
  Going on walks are tiring but we go on very short walks to build my stamina. They say its better to do more short walks rather than one long walk:)
