Wow!! I cannot believe it has been two weeks since my amputation. Days 5, 6, and 7 were the most difficult for me. I was extra lethargic and dehydrated. But I made it through and I am feeling so much better. My sparkle is coming back and I have a new “normal”. Boy does it feel good to “feel” good! Today my Uncle Justin’s girlfriend Jen came by to see me. I was sooo excited to see her:) And then my neighbor was driving by and saw me through the storm door and noticed I was missing a leg. She stopped to come say “Hi” and see how I was doing. She knew of my diagnosis but didn’t realize I had my surgery. She petted me and loved on me. It was a wonderful visit!
